What's for Dinner ? Not Duck, for sure ! ! !

The original article was published about a week ago (or so) and it was about a duck who had been shot at twice by a hunter in Florida. The hunter found the duck unconscious, so he took her home, put her in the fridge and two days later told her wife to cook duck ...but the wife got the scare of her life when she realised that the duck was NOT dead ! The duck was then rush to the vet to be taken care of.
This morning's story is that the duck was dead for a couple of minutes on the operating table in the vet's, and the vet revived her by applying CPR to the animal...

Anyway ...you can read the stories here (the original) and here ( the follow up)

This DUCK = a CAT
thus, the duck has five more lives to spare!

Babel

We spent the night out with friends...Went to the cinema...
To see Babel

Well...
The movie is a pretty good one (even though some questions* remain unanswered)
Loved the music, especially the low beat pieces and of course the Japanese House ...
Briliant photography...
Not a great story but well directed...
Overall :
Brad Pitt looks old...but still, he is handsome...
Kate Blanchett looks pretty and has perfect skin...
All children acted remarkably well...
Chieko, the Deaf-Mute Japanese girl, has no cellulite...
American authorities (in two continents) do very little (almost too late) for Brad's family...

*
What happened to Santiago?
What did the letter read?
What kind of pills were the pink pills Chieko took?
Did Pitt and Blanchett characters lose a third child recently?

and many more...

Snow Snow Snow (not that much though...)

Today I was rudely awaken by a text message around 6.40am...
The text message read:
Everything outside is white...It is snowing... and it will keep snowing for the whole day
(wishful thinking there...)

I got up, couldn't find the way to the nearest window (apparently this is what happens when you leave your soul behind, still sleeping under the warm duvet).
Finally, I reached the window...

Close Encounters

I would like to start my 2007 posts on a natural theme...

Most of the photos were taken by my brother, P. (summer 2006 in Psakoudia, Halkidiki, Greece)
