Crisis in World Economy

For at least two weeks we were bombarded with words like recession, loss, Dow Jones down, Nikkei Tokyo down etc...
Quite scary stuff, heh ?
















One thing I can't understand is why on earth do Japanese use red numbers to show gain of the index while they use green for the losses...?

I will look into the matter and let you know!
