Bad Pelican!

This is a story I read on the paper about 2-3 days ago on my way to Brighton.
In St.James's park in London there are several species of birds swimming around, walking among people, being fed breadcrumbs by the tourists etc.
Among these birds there is a pelican, who ... apparently forgot how fish tastes...
There is no other explanation for the following picture...
