Lost and Found

Le Parisien Lost and Found office celebrated its 200th birthday last week...
The Service des Objets Trouves is one of the oldest Lost property offices in the world. It receives more than 900 objects a day - most of them being mobile phones, wallets, umbrellas, hats and other low value objects. Interestingly enough some high value objects that reside at the office include a 1kg solid gold bar, and a substantial number of diamonds. Finally many sentimentally priceless and rather unusual items include a wedding dress, a skull, dental plates, dentures, a dead lobster and - a macabre finding - funeral ashes from a cremated person...

Anyway, if you were in Paris and you lost anything ... at least you know where it is kept !
